Yesterday (Wednesday) a Fresno judge dropped one of 2 charges against
the GAP 17 who were arrested May 6 of last year at Fresno’s Fashion Fair
for non violently protesting GAP sweatshops.

The judge (Kent Hamlin) gave the District Attorney’s office until
tomorrow (Friday) to submit a brief on why he should not drop the second charge.

The dropped charge was trespassing for which the protesters were arrested.

The second charge was interfering with business, which the DA added
months later.
